Donnell Williams 28, of Bridgeport, was arrested Wednesday, Feb. 27, for allegedly taking part in the murder of Alfanso Anderson on Feb. 26, 2018, at the Sunny Side Inn, said Terron Jones, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department.
Police believe that Anderson, 48, was an innocent victim when Williams and Glenn Pettway, 25, of Bridgeport, went to collect a debt owed to a prostitute, police said.
Anderson was reportedly mistaken for the man that owed the money.
Pettway was arrested earlier this month for his role in the murder.
Williams is charged with murder, felony murder, and criminal attempt at robbery.
He is being held on a $1,000,000 bond.
